On Saturday, May 25, 2024, the Sikh Community Connections in collaboration with Interfaith Council of Victoria (SICV) hosted a captivating event titled “Soulful Strings – Sikh Musical Heritage” at 50 William Street in Hawthorn, Victoria. This gathering celebrated the rich tapestry of Sikh musical traditions, offering attendees an immersive experience into the soulful world of Gurmat Sangeet.

🎶 A Journey Through Sikh Musical Heritage

The event showcased the profound depth of Sikh musical heritage, emphasizing the significance of traditional instruments and melodies that have been integral to Sikh worship and culture for centuries. Attendees were treated to performances that highlighted the unique sounds of instruments such as the Rabab, Saranda, and Taus, each echoing the spiritual essence of Sikhism.
