We all have mental health; it can be good, bad and anywhere in-between especially during the time of the Covid 19 Crisis.

We will be connecting you with professional who are experts in various areas of mental health to guide you with practical information and tools to assist you to keep a healthy and happy mind.

Who’s it for?

This course is for anyone between 21-45, who would like to gain a greater understanding of mental health

Outcome

By the end of this training you will be able to:

  • Define mental health, mental wellbeing and mental distress.
  • Recognise the difference between mental wellbeing and mental health difficulties and identify what can lead to poor mental wellbeing.
  • Learn how to identify and replace unhelpful thoughts and behaviours.
  • Explore your own attitudes towards mental health.
  • Take steps to conquer your fears and manage anxiety in a practical and achievable way
  • Overcome feelings of isolation, sadness and low self-esteem
  • Stress management techniques
  • Identify support that is available nationally and locally and understand how to access support when needed.
