Badminton for Women & Girls

SCC Women Badminton Club welcomes women of all abilities to join us for badminton.  Many people don’t know that Badminton combines all kinds of physical fitness and provides all-round exercise that can give you all the benefits! These include:  Energy burning exercise, improves your figure, increases metabolism, improves agility and strength, “Badminton is the most direct kind of skin care” (as sweating clears the skin and aids to de-toxify, is an elegant sport that emphasises coordination, flexibility, correct footwork and precise movements and lastly, physical and spiritual relaxation and healthy socialising.

All female participants interested in taking up a fun way to get fit are welcome to participate in an upcoming badminton program. It provides a culturally safe space for women and younger girls who do not feel comfortable playing sport in a mixed gender environment.

These sessions are a great way to connect with your community while getting active and having some fun!
